REVIEWS
Had so much fun at this event, and loved the encouragement to just do our own thing and enjoy, with support as needed. I came home with a piece that I'll continue to work on, and loved the chance to spend a few hours with other artists just painting and enjoying a beautiful day.

It was a fun event. I learned a few things. The actual setting made it a bit uncomfortable for painting.

I really enjoyed it. Appreciated the change of plans to indoors at the last minute because of the weather. Tan was really helpful in responding to individual questions.

The class was very well organized and executed. Tan was delightful as an instructor. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful. The class was scheduled outdoors but due to the weather we pivoted to indoors, an excellent decision.

As an absolute beginner who has never taken a sketching class before, I learned a tremendous amount. Our teacher was excellent and clearly knew what she was talking about, as well as how to teach.

It was a small group so the training was intimate and personal. The instructor was excellent and had plenty of time to assist each of us. Will look for other opportunities to take classes through Buffalo Art Group with Tan of Tan and Mig - it was an excellent investment.

I thought the event was going to be more one on one help with winter landscapes not a paint along. I enjoyed attending but I do not need this kind of activity. Any more advanced painting events would be appreciated.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.

I am Tracey, a self-taught artist from Plymouth, UK, I have been developing my coloured pencil techniques for the past year . My aim is always to capture not only the likeness of an animal but also the personality and spirit that make them so special to the people who love them.In this piece, Colin is shown resting amongst a vibrant meadow of wildflowers, his striking green eyes drawing the viewer in. The detailed fur work, delicate whiskers, and colourful floral surroundings were all carefull
